SEARCH is a
self-sustaining institution dedicated to the development
and management of the Human Capital through synergic
application of knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Management and leadership are not
two mutually exclusive terms; they complement each
other. In a fiercely competitive, InfoTech driven
corporate world, an effective and result oriented
executive today needs to be both a competent leader
and a competent manager. At the same time he needs
to be a good follower and a good leader. Our training
programmes have been created keeping in mind this
vital linkage between a manager and a leader.
Human Endeavour knows no limits but
many of us are not fully conscious of our true potential
and capabilities. It is only when we venture out of
our comfort zone and expose ourselves to the unfamiliar
situations that we become aware of the immense physical,
moral and mental reserves that we possess. This realization
fortifies our self-belief and resolve, which, in our
view, are amongst the cardinal ingredients of leadership.
The emphasis is thus on development of EQ.
It is the primary obligation of a
leader to weld the followers into a cohesive team
by fostering in them esprit de corps, pride for the
Organisation and a deep sense of shared commitment.
Their combined effort should produce that synergy
wherein the end result is far greater than the sum
of the individual inputs.
In Search, we help the trainees chisel
themselves, both as individuals and as leaders. Our
programmes thus focus on the growth of the Organisation
through the growth of the individual.
